    You mean on the contura-II switches? Yes, they come factory with green LEDs and I swapped them out for some BLUE ones I had from my door switch conversion. You need 3mm LED's, and with white, dont worry about getting the highest rating MCD. You only need a couple thousand millicandella.

    This only happens when the trailer is plugged in? What about with just the parking lights on? My guess would be a chaffed wire somewhere on the trailer. Most likely at a bend or joint where the metal is sharp. Are you using a 4 pin harness, or a 7 pin harness on your trailer?

    Sorry, I meant heater core hose. Brain was going faster than fingers. Sounds like you have a plan. I dont really agree on the "coolant filters take longer to heat up truck" logic, as the volume of water moved isnt THAT much, that the truck would stay cold longer. I've read those posts too...

    I think they are BETWEEN the A/C condensor and the Intercooler. You can see them by pulling that rubber flap that covers the gap between the two on the top of the grille area.

    Yeah, there is no tranny monitoring on the Edge. You would need an aftermarket gauge if you dont have an 02 truck with factory gauge. The ford factory gauge is almost useless and is more of an idiot light than a real gauge. By the time the factory gauge shows RED, its too late.
