    Oil pressure gauge

The oil pressure sending unit is a pressure sensitive element, and the pressure sensor may be going bad. Or you could have a bad/loose wire going to it. Or, you really do have low oil pressure when the engine is hot. The only way to really tell would be to install a REAL oil pressure guage...

    ELF Strike

They have a pretty screwed up value system. They prolly all drive cars, that put out more pollution than some of our worst High HP chips! While they do have the ever so slightest concept of "consumerism" and destruction of natural resources for the pure joy of buying things, the way they go...

    O/D switch took a sh*^

well, your IGNITION SWITCH does come out. You use a tiny, but long screwdriver, or even a long skinny nail works too. You put your key in the ignition, push the nail into the hole that is located under the steering column, near the bottom of where the ignition switch base would be inside the...

OK, I added more pics, and two short vids of the airbags and airhorn in action. http://www.forgotton.net/diesel/air/index.htm The vids are near the top. Airbag vid, and airhorn vid.

So you think Diesel is expensive?

You see the advertisements on TV for the upcoming "made for TV" movie "OIL STORM" ? Its supposed to be based on fuel prices going up to like 10 bucks a gallon, and the riots and stuff that will happen in the US. Makes you really want to own an old mechanical injection diesel. The things...

    SuperDuty 07's

Im under the impression there will be no 06 trucks. Only a longer run of 05's, followed by an early 07. Basically like the transition from 97 to 99 trucks.

    O/D switch took a sh*^

Yes. The wiring that goes to the switch gets kinked/broken/worn. You have to kinda tear the steering cloumn apart to find the wires and chek them all and replace it if its bad. I dont have the instructions handy, Im going off old posts on TDS, but I know this occurs.

    OBD II Scanners

I have the autoenginuity as well. Jay pushes out updates semi regularly, so always check the website for the latest software. I think Im about 2 revisions behind because I dont have my laptop online much. The autoenginuity was chosen by INTERNATIONAL as their choice of test equipment, so...

    Firestone Ride-Rite Air Suspension

Check this out: www.forgotton.net/diesel/air/index.htm Thats *MY* air system. I *JUST LITERALLY* finished it tonight, so I need to update those pics to incluse the airbag UP/DOWN solenoids, the quick disconnect at the back bumper for a 25ft air hose and air chuck, and the indash gauge...

    Mac Monitor question

We used to have to buy special adapters to make NORMAL screens work on a MAC computer. They *might* sell the REVERSE, which would be an adapter to convert NORMAL computer to MAC. If it has DVI, you could go buy an ew video card with DVI outputs and just be done with it.

WVO Blackstone Oil report... Not good

I dont understand their comments about changing oils. Do they think your running vegetable oil in your oil pan? DO they not understand you are using it as a fuel? Even with the bypass oil filter, your numbers do seam pretty high. At what point did you stop running regular diesel fuel? I...

    Water Pump Filter Boss

Dale would have to confirm exactly, but the International trucks had the filter boss built into the waterpump. Ford dumped it. I want to say you can install the international pump, but you'll need to use the international thermistat too.

    Exhaust and Down Pipe

Less restriction, better heat evacuation, etc etc. No one has ever been able to prove to me that a 4" system has a "loss" of power/torque such as would happen on a gasser. The turbo creates all the engine backpressure (equal to, or greater than your boost pressure) and the 6.0 has a variable...

    Is it me...or

Oh, im not saying bury your head in the sand, but I am saying that what is reported is the absolute worst of the worst, and by listening to it and watching it, you perpetuate it. If everyone turned OFF the news because of its content, then they would be forced to change their presentation of...

    Is it me...or

Over population, over work, chemicals in the air and water, over eager news reporters that glamorize even the smallest tragedy because death sells. Death sells even better than sex! Turn off the TV. Makes a world of difference.

    Wiggle in water pump

There shouldnt be any movement. When I replaced MudHogs waterpump, it was a very firm feeling on the shaft. No movement, and actually took a little effort to turn as the pump seal grabs the shaft pretty hard. SCA's are part of what destroys a waterpump, hence the reason International uses a...

    SilverStar Headlight Bulbs

upgrade your wiring harness and you can almost double your light output. The stock wiring harness is under rated. You lose a few volts, and that makes a huge difference!

    203 Tstat from Bob Riley

Im pretty sure the International trucks use a 203* stat. Problem is, Ford changed the waterpump design, and the international 203 stat wont work in our pumps. So Bob went out and had a new 203 built just for him. At least thats the story I got.

    2002 Horn Relay Location?

I got mine hooked up last weekend too. Just used a scotchlok on the horn wire coming out of the fuse/relay box to trigger my solinoid. 4-chime "yankee horn" off ebay. 130psi of pressure, and if your in front of the truck, your ears will ring for 5 minutes!
