Sorry I havent responded, they finally figured it out, it was a heater hose that was recalled because the flow hole was too small??? Ford actually covered all the costs:dunno. no i dont have an aftermarket brake controller, its stock, i dont believe i was over gvwr, and im just learning this but i guess its not an engine brake but when i touch the brakes my truck hits higher rpm and it helps slow the truck down- Bdyzr1

I have a 08 F-350, it has 32000 miles on it and my 3/36 just ran out on time 8/27. 2 weeks ago coming down a 6% grade in tow/haul mode pulling my toyhauler (12000 lbs or more) i was in regen mode and when my engine brake engaged i heard like a thumping sound (kinda like i had a flat front tire)...- Bdyzr1
