Help Needed Exhaust / Turbo Leak?
I am getting frustrated with an exhaust leak on the driver's side manifold vicinity. There is a hole tapped into the 'elbow' for the pyrometer thermo-coupler, which is tight but somewhere near this spot it continually blows fumes as there is exhaust soot and I can feel some hot air rushing out...- MuleMan

I think I am out of warranty - Born Sept 2003 6 Liter, 6 sp with 43k miles - been a good rig. As far as deleting the EGR - I think I want to do it. EGR Baffle kit
So, what did you end up doing? If you put in a baffle kit - what do you think? I had a 'greased' up EGR that I believe was caused from tooo much oil on my AirAid air filter being sucked in. At the moment, I am seriously considering discarding the EGR. Maybe this fix from Ford will help but...- MuleMan

Question EGR and EGR manifold carbon buildup 2006 6.0
What is the trick to 'pulling the EGR' out? It turns but I haven't figured out if it is stuck or held down with a machine alignment knock or just o-ringed, tight fit or ??? Any advise would help. My fuel economy and performance is down on my 03 6L and looking things over 1 piece at a time...- MuleMan
