I have no clue???? That would have been cool to get a pic of if they did. Looking under the hood I don't see how that motor could come out with the cab on??? I'm doing shocks, ball joints, brakes & sway arm bushings over the weekend. After all this it's going to feel like a new truck again.:D...- Scot

It's back.... Everything seems to be running great now. The running concerns were corrected by reflashing Quote - "Reset KAM and perform VGT relearn process". The "8's" on the odometer just went away after the batteries were unhooked for engine removal and the reflash was done. I thought...- Scot

new update on oil leak... My motor is being pulled today. They say my leak has been traced to the bed pan. My SA admits he's not sure what that is but wanted to update me. can someone explain what it is since he could not??? Thanks -popcorn- Scot

My 03 says 14000 and 1500 tongue (2"). I don't think a factory installed tow package / hitch would be any less than the towing capacity of the truck. Mine is on a sticker on the rear tube of the hitch frame.- Scot

It's an 03 w/ 65K shouldn't any assembly grease be worked out by now??? At this point I would love an assembly lube leak!!!! Update.... don't get it done yet... It seemed fine for the first couple days, today it started running like hell. Studdering @ 30-40, no pattern to the shifting, smooth on one acceleration and won't shift on the next. When I tried switching to guage mode on the dash I got "888888888". Dealer...- Scot

Tex... I can't really comment on fuel economy. I tow 7-10K 99% of the time so my results are much different than people who only pull occasionally. Since I bought it @ 14K I've gotten 10-12 depending on how heavy my foot is. (usually filled with lead) On weekend trips w/o towing I get 16-17mpg...- Scot

I need a stiffer ride, I pull 7-10K 90% of the time. the stock ranchos are too loose for my purposes. So, anything stiffer than that will be great.:sweet- Scot

Any have any feedback on what I can expect from "ProComp ES 9000" shocks. Truck has 65K on it. I will be replacing Ball Joints, Brakes, shocks & sway arm bushings next chance I get. Thanks -popcorn- Scot

Thanks Scott #2. Did it this afternoon. The hardest part was breaking the rotor loose. Otherwise it was a joke. & shaking while breaking is gone.:hail- Scot

The last time I tore into any brakes was on a 98 ranger so I'm a little clueless about the big boys. I am getting some definate pulsing through the whole truck. I'm guessing its the rear rotors since it is not affecting the steering wheel when it happens. I know what bad front rotors feel like...- Scot

Trouble shifting into 4WD; thoughts?
The solution doesn't get any easier than this. "Take it to the dealer" it's free. Don't try figuring something like that out yourself until the warranty is up. Good luck- Scot
