Speaking of dismal mileage, anyone see the new little fuel mileage brochure going out with the new s/duties? It is classic. It starts off with what DIC lights do not require a trip to the dealer. Apparently dealers are being overwhelmed with trucks coming back from the DIC lights being on. Then...- F350DRW1

AMSOIL BYPASS SYSTEM
But won't the added hoses, filter housing, etc. need a certain amount more oil because of the crankcase volume lost to these items? I would imagine that amsoil mentioned it in the installation instructions?- F350DRW1

I'm very interested in how the 6.4 holds up. I had everyone I know tell me not to buy a 6.0, but after driving one I came to my own conclusions. The 6.4 has been the opposite. I've had folks say they are the best thing since canned soup, but the one's I've driven at least have left me wanting...- F350DRW1

Well, if you ever have to properly torque the fuel bowls on a Holley 750 double pumper, I can say from experience its 7 INCH pounds. Been there, stripped that. :rolleyes:- F350DRW1

Acid, Sierra Nevada, Rotella 5w-40 :D But seriously, a 6.0 isn't a bad choice. I know I'll probably be in the minority on this, but I remain unimpressed with the 6.4. Torque convertor may not be engaging. Should be under warrantee. Although lift and tire combo could work against you, depends on if dealer has a sense of humor.- F350DRW1
