    Here's my new 09 after I installed the Levelling Kit. The Weld wheels and Nitto's from my 05 are going on as soon as I get some new lug nuts. Also coming are a set of Duraflap mud flaps, Line-X, a new Weatherguard toolbox, Mag-Hytec dif covers from my 05, and window tint.:sweet

    Sold my 05, picked up my 09! Sunday the Levelling kit goes on along with my Weld wheels from my 05. I also ordered a set of Duraflap mudflaps, should be here next week. Pics to follow as soon as I find my camera.

    Check the Track bar, its supposed to be torqued to 406 ft. lbs. Bet you its loose.

    Just about any Synthetic is good. I like Royal Purple and Mobil 1.

    You aren't comparing apples to apples with an 05 Dodge. That has a 5.9 Cummins WITHOUT all the emissions equipment current model year Diesels have now. A better comparison is a 2008 or 2009 Doge 6.7L Cummins with a 2008 or 2009 Ford 6.4L, if you do your homework, you'll see all of the Big 3's...

    It is possible that you had a tune in the truck when you bought it, but it seems very odd the dealer didn't mention anything.

    One other thing you may want to consider. If you were an employer interviewing a potential mechanic, what would your first impression be if the potential employee showed you his shiny new Lowes or Costco tools and Toolbox? I know what I'd think... Do yourself a favor, buy Snap-On or Matco...
