Well the NHL season has kicked off and tonight is the Wings first game. I am ready for fall and winter now that Hockey is back. Lets wish for a good season and no tragedies. OH and GO WINGS beat the former Stanley cup champs :GRD :thumbs

Pics Of Our New Peterbilt Parkin' Lot

Ok that is kind of what I thought, but never really knew what was going on. I do see a few car haulers that have sleepers, but they are mostly from out of state. They are all pete's though.

    Toolbox options needed for flatbed

I like the weatherguard boxes very much. They have nice door seals. I have noticed on some other peoples boxes the clear coat popping up and oxidation starting under it. None of mine have defects though. One thing that I hate of winter is the road salt. The counties and cities lay down the...

Pics Of Our New Peterbilt Parkin' Lot

I know this is kind of off subject, but maybee Bama knows the answer to this question. Being in Michigan I see alot of daycab car haulers hauling from the plants here in Michigan and I wonder how they can rest. I think the limit for hours on the road is 14 so I wonder if these trucks go out...

Thanks I will check that tomarrow. The trans is a Jasper re-built, but I don't know how many miles are on it since I bought the truck used.

That is good that it is hitting the road to make some money. The problem that I have with my guys, is that they really use all the same trucks and are not designated to any particular, so they just use it and abuse it. They do have designated service trucks, but are not always driving them...

Pics Of Our New Peterbilt Parkin' Lot

The big question is when will it be hitting the road to make some money? I hold back new trucks to long even when they are ready to go because I worry that the guys won't care for it as much as i do and they will beat the crap out of it or not take care of it.

This trans isn't in my truck it is in one of my work trucks. What confuses me is that the fluid is higher when it is cold then when it is hot.

    HOW BOUT THEM PHILLIES!!!!!!

I have grown to the Detroit disappointment as well. The wings, pistons, and tigers kick arse all season, but when the playoffs hit they all fall apart even though critics say they are built for the playoffs. As for the Lions :( you know what you are gonna get from them.

    97 E4OD issues

Ok here is one that has got me. I changed the trans fluid in a 97 F super duty and now it will not stop leaking out of the pan seal, especially around the bolt holes. I have serviced many transmissions and have never had this problem. The truck does not have to be running for it to leak all...

He needs to put some 8" stacks on there, and like you said, spend about $2000 on un-needed LED lights.

    Toolbox options needed for flatbed

Aluminum boxes are not cheap, but well worth the money. I have a few boxes made by weatherguard, which have good stainless latches and locks. They are a diamond plate finish bright or black and also clear coated.

Nice. Guys sure love new toys when you tell them that is theirs to drive. Good luck with the truck, hopefully no mechanical issues.

    Toolbox options needed for flatbed

Depends on whether you want steel or aluminum. Steel boxes are cheap and are easy to install. Aluminum boxes last longer and cost more, plus they are lighter. I have underbed boxes on all my flat beds and have had little problems with aluminum boxes. Steel boxes just expect to replace them...

    Don't mess with Texas Drivers

I was going to say that. In Michigan it is illegal to carry a pistol without a ccwp, but in Detroit or (Det-riot) you can carry weapons with no problem. You can shoot people and get away for a couple of months before the police get around to looking for you. I have worked in hoods where you...

    Welding project

What kind of welder did you buy? I got a Miller 251 and an old Miller 200 also a Lincoln arc welder and a crappy thermal dynamics plasma cutter. Last but not least 2 sets of torches one large and one small.

    What is your Fuel Economy?

All Ford trucks 250-750 have the same cab. They have always been that way and makes way more sense. The cost of having 2 cab production lines is crazy.

    wont start

hpop is a high pressure oil pump. I think what the guys are saying is that when your truck sits for a couple of days it drains down not holding any oil.

The New Toilet Bowl MOD, any helpers?

Bama since the water is coming out low it probably is cracked and you did right by buying a new toilet. There are air assisted flush toilets out there. When you flush one of those the whole lid rattles, but they are still 1.6 gallon flush. IMO the industry should never have gotten rid of...

The New Toilet Bowl MOD, any helpers?

Bama, I may sound like a Monday morning quarter back to you since you already got a new toilet, but I have seen on some toilet models the rubber gasket between the tank and bowl breaks down and looses the seal. Was water coming from high or low on the toilet? Sometimes the rubber washers leak...
