    I have read in this forum of many that run synthetic in the winter as they say it helps with colder weather startups. They then run petroleum based oil for the summer oil. May run the same brand etc... The Mobil 1 synthetic says its for user of 15W40 diesel oil. :confused:

    Figured that was understood but it got our post count up another point. I put 15 last change but read here that 15 would give you a little problem. Double checked and 14 quarts seems to fit around 80% up on the dipstick between the min and max marks.

    Been to 2 different Advance Auto Parts, 1 O'rielly's, and 1 Sears. Bought a Craftsman 12 point just in case but so far no 6 point low profile. So far seems like a big special deal to find a 6 point low profile socket. Have 2 others Napa and Carquest I'll try next or try to run down the K&D truck.

    Sounds like someone is gouging. Just got my company F150 with 5.4 L changed Monday with Castrol Syn Blend Vacuum and wash for $53. I can change my own in personal 250 with Delvac and Purolator Filter for about $35 but i bought up oil on bogo free and free filters with oil purchases...

    Called the dealer over in Sevierville. He thought he had a bolt in stock :D but will have it in the morning :sweet. He seemed to say that people come in for this bolt often is why he thought it was in stock. Has anyone else had a problem with the bolt backing out of the clutch? :dunno

    Is it clockwise or counterclockwise? Gotta hunt the bolt. It was in it when i stopped earlier i thought but is not there now. I'll have to call the parts house and see if I can get the bolt. Should I take the plate off so that is not lost?
