    Thanks guys! So with the rotella 5 40, can I change it at greater than 5k or stick to changin it at 5k? It gets really really hot in the summer here in ks. We had high 90's and 100's for months here. 5 40 will be ok in those high temps?

    I know you want somethin bigger than a half ton but what about a newer f150? I heard good things on that eco boost motor, tows good and gets great fuel mileage. Its def better than a pos gm! hehe. Maybe you just havnt driven a GOOD half ton haha.

    Mine has 280,8xx on it right now. Only thing that i know that has been replaced is the tranny. Still goin strong and just installed the PHP FU chip. I love it! Ive put over 46k on it since i've had it.

    Yea the 5.4s had those probs. Sounds like a nice truck. BUT diesel would be better for pulling. Plus last longer since thats what its made for. The 5.4 will probably do it but probably wont like it. But if you rarely pull I guess the 5.4 will do it.

    Yes if you wired it up properly it will. It will be like you never wired a tc lock at all. I also want to do this and do the exhaust brake mod. Some say its bad and some say its good.

    Luckily the tymar intake doesnt cost much to do. Just an airfilter and piece of pipe. I put an F.U. chip on mine recently and omg really woke it up. Its a hot rod now hehe. With smoke rollin too!

    We had a guy stop by our house to buy a camper shell from us and he had a mid 90's 4x4 ranger with a 4bt in it. Sounded really sweet. Plenty of power for a ranger or bronco II.

    Awesome! Ford has the best cabs! Even with my stacks right behind my cab it is still decently quiet. Do you have the tymar airfilter yet?? If you dont have it that will bring the whistle out even more. Sounds really good. Put an aftermarket turbo on it and even louder.

    Sounds almost like a black ops truck haha. Tint the windows and that will def look awesome. I painted my rim with truck bedliner. Blacked out with a texture. Looks good but have a few chips in it. Ebay has some cool black grilles on ebay or foot the big money for the BRP grille! Would look sweet!
