    Its just a flaw in the 6.0. Its totally fixable BUT very expensive and labor intensive. Once its fixed its a freakin animal though! Get gauges if you do buy it.     Thanks everyone for the feedback. I will do some more research on this. I want to do it right the first time. There is a plug in under the truck to plug in a new trailer connector but the ones at the autoparts place didnt come close to fitting. I was hoping for a plug n play thing. Oh well...

    Fall and Winter is on the way.

    Man I want to move to colorado so bad! I didnt get to take my yearly 1 week trip to ride atvs there. The mountains are awesome and I LOVE the old mines and ghost towns. Just way more to do there than here in boring ks. Plus I do love snow. I'd only be about 8hrs away from my home town if I did move.

    Well I would just cut the muffler off first since there is no sensors on the muffler. See what it sounds like for ya then.     Yea thats what im thinkin dave! So far its been startin in the cold weather last yr. Hasnt gotten cold enough here yet to see if thats what it is. I did have to start pluggin it in last yr sometimes when it was really freakin cold.

    Battery Drainage?

    The AIH will drain the batteries really fast, within half hr. Plus at night you will see the heater body glowing red up by the intake tubes.

    Battery Drainage?

    What about the AIH? My AIH solenoid stuck "On" and would run the AIH heater element causing my batts to drain in about 10min or so. I just deleted the AIH and disconnected the solenoid. Fixed the prob. Could be the alt too.

    Yea if you could post them that would be great. Im dreading doing mine cause I dont know if its been done before. Im pretty sure it has been since its got 269k on it. I hear the horror stories of the gp breaking off or somethin. So far its been startin. Guess when it gets even colder time will tell.
