YAY! Ford continues to be the best car company out there! Their sales are up, reliability is the best around and we didnt have to bail them out! Now THATS a car company!:sweet Henry is resting a lil easier now.
Speaking of junk gm's, we got one at our house that the torque converter bolts fell out! Between junky IFS and other front and rear end probs, i'd rather have a toyota! haha. My truck is on call if anyone with a gm needs a tow:stir hehe
We've seen some that use the caps to bolt them on but they dont seem to use that style anymore. We will probably have to get the other style it looks like.
150k is nothin on a Ford diesel. Older Fords are rare to find any less than 150k. And if you do they will want a lot for them. 7.3's are very reliable and can be powerhouses with some upgrades. I bought my 99 7.3 with 242k on it and it now has 270k and I havnt done anything to it besides some...
Ok thanks. I said we could make one but I dont think he wants to. Its for a friend of ours. We might not have a choice and get the type that has an extra pan gasket.
Anyone know who sells a windage tray that fits a 390 that bolts to the main caps and NOT to the oil pan bolts? My dad doesnt want the kind that uses another pan gasket and sandwiching the tray.
sounds like somethin is holding the sender unit down probably. Usually it would be next to your black water tank. My camper had the tank in the frame rails and were held on by big straps like on our trucks fuel tank.
The DIY intake is the best. Its the Do-It-yourself intake. Its also the cheapest. The Donaldson airfilter is available at NAPA only it seems. Atleast around here it is. It was like $58 a few yrs ago. The cummins guys use it. About 4 or 6" of 4" exhaust tubing and yer done! Stay away from K&N...
Yea the Ford gods are messin with him haha. I believe in ghosts but have never seen or experienced them. My gf has takin some pics with weird spirit stuff in them.
Welcome! Awesome lookin truck. Yea I would def do the DIY intake and do an exhaust. Both will make it breathe really good. Check out the Wiki page on this site and see all the other cheap mods to do to it. Lots of great info on this site.
Those 400 Prairies and the rest of the prairies cant be beat. Especially the vtwins. I personally have a 2005 Brute Force 750 with some engine mods. I bought it new and its been through lots of mud races which I won almost all of them and I've even flat tracked it a few times and won both races...
Im happy you guys made a section for camping. I love camping! Plus alot of you have 5th wheels and Im wanting to get one hopefully next yr or somekind of travel trailer or toyhauler. Probably over a century of combined camper ownership on this forum from all you guys. :sweet. This site is...
Looks great! Let us know how that paint holds up, I've been thinkin of painting my original wheels since they are also lookin nasty from corrosion. Where did you get that paint and is that what is used on wheels? I thought about powder coating mine white or black or maybe both. My gf just bought...
I love that lil transit connect. I see them everywhere around here. Then you got the econoline vans, old and new everywhere. Fleet superduties and F150s also everywhere. Beautiful sight! Ford has the fleet market for sure. The ranger def needs a redesign. I do still like the looks of them. I...
