    If you think the pump is bad, the drain the fuel bowl and put the lid back on, cycle the key then check the bowl again and see if there is any fuel in the bowl. IF the pump is bad it has no effect on the wts light, that is the glow plugs. The ses light would not stay on either.

    On the 4r100 tranny there is a test port just on the drivers side, just in front of where the selector cable attaches to the tranny. It is a 10mm bolt, just above the lip the pan bolts to. The tranny guage will come with a sensor that is the same size. Its very easy to install one. The best...

    Re-program

    The TDE0 and TDE1 programs will keep the t/c locked when you let off the fuel, they are the latest programs for the OBS trucks.

    No there is no code that will keep the t/c locked when you hit the brakes for an OBS truck. PMT will do it, however that is for a 2k superduty, they won't play with the older trucks. The reason to keep the t/c locked when on the brakes, is because at higher speeds it will help slow the truck...

    My money is on the torque converter. You have the dreaded 99 model. If it were me, I would plan on having the tranny gone thru with a new t/c put in for sure.

    I would say yes, it should be the issue, or you can pull the steering wheel cover off and see if you can see a loose wire.

    i have an oil leak and need help

    Definately check the turbo pedistal, my 95 was leaking oil there and it took forever to locate it. When I finally did check it, the bolts weren't even finger tight, voila, no more leaking oil.

    75 hp is the max you will see from a 49 state OBS truck. Thats optimistic at best, all conditions must be perfect for that to happen. You will need all the supporting mods as well, intake, exhaust, gutted ebpv, turbo in good shape, etc, etc.

    I doubt it is your ebpv closed, or it wouldn't have much power when you hit it, especially stock.
