So is had my CEL go on about 2 hours in to our trip from So Cal to Utah to go camping. Had no performance issues up or back. I took it in the the Ford dealership to have the issue diagnosed and repaired. I was told that I need the EGT sensor replaced. Cost was going to be a bit under $600. Fine...
I just went thru this with my 2011 F-350 SRW. Payload is only 3074lbs. Doesn't seem like much for the size of the truck. But it is what it is......I am towing a Keystone Cougar 368MBI. I kept wanting my truck to be sufficient but in the end, the numbers don't lie. I am upgrading to a 2011 F-450...
I bought a 2011 F350 2 years ago and it was outfitted with a Transfer Flow tank. 40 gallons. It really makes a difference especially when towing my trailer.
2011 F350, long bed, 4x4, XLT, has leather interior, plus pretty much every option available. Had 100,000 miles. Got it in February of last year. $35,000. But this is California......
I had a 2000 F250 with the 7.3. Drove it for about 2years. Great truck, but there were little things that would bug me. And it had the extra cab. I finally sold it early last year and bought a 2011 F350 with the 6.7. Night and day, IMO. The 6.7 has so much more power and mine has the crew cab...
