    Question Accufab and MBRP

I don't recall there being an ACCUFAB for the 7.3L. I have the ACCUFAB with a straight piped exhaust. Airflow is going to be improved and worth the small effort to do the install. Add to that there is a port to read the boost PSI for when you add gauges.

    Question Whad do you think?

The OP seems to have posted an email from the seller. I'd stay away from this truck. Anyone dropping a rig $3k right off the bat for a repair that can be done easily for under $100 isn't giving you the full story.

    Considering trading 2010 for 2005

Diesel Power is like the 80's so far behind the times yet still think they are cool. That story is OLD with no real merit. If it's true then why aren't 6.0s selling for less than $10k?

    Considering trading 2010 for 2005

Take the VIN to a Ford dealer. The service department should look it up no problem. See what the history tells you.

    Considering trading 2010 for 2005

Get an OASIS report from the seller dealer (if they are Ford). This will show you the vehicle maintenance history of work done by Ford dealers.

    Considering trading 2010 for 2005

It's not worth the headache and the hit in the pocketbook. The 6.0 when treated and modded correctly is a stunner to drive. To pick one up from a dealer is rolling the dice just on the vehicle history. Maybe look around for a friend wanting to step up to a 2010?

    EGR delete time?

Allow me to make this a bit easier to understand. The exhaust gases MAY be flash boiling the coolant. The best way to prevent this is to remove the EGR up-pipe and weld the "T" shut. This prevents the hot exhaust from entering the EGR cooler and causing the flash boiling. Now you may find...

    Question FICM Prices

The repairs/voltage mods are straight forward. I don't recall anything specific about the tuning they need to know. As posted get in touch with Swamps Diesel or Power Hungry Performance for the details.

    Question FICM Prices

Swamps Diesel will do repairs and tuning. Both are good options to have done at the same time.

Banks Intercooler / Worth it ?

My Spearco will keep the IAT at the manifold within +10-20*F of the OAT. There's a few different resources out there you just got to search for them. Banks is a good product yet expensive and gives you parts not really needed (i.e. boot tubes and elbow). Aluminum Radiator, Performance...

    EGR delete??

The EGR delete will help in a few areas. Primarily it will delete the EGR cooler which helps keep the coolant from flash boiling. Additionally it will keep the soot collection in the intake down.

    banjo bolt mod....

Get the 6.4L banjos and the new Ford fuel pressure regulator spring (blue in color), add a fuel pressure gauge, and monitor the pressure. Add an AirDog for better fuel consistency (removed air, filtered), add a fuel sump to prevent sloshing at 1/4 tank (with some aftermarket pumps). All this...

    06 F350 upgrades

You can mod the EGR up-pipe but you will need an SCT to keep the CEL from coming on. You can have the tuning kept to a mild flavor is you wish.

    Hot Shot's Secret

    Uping my performance

Talk to Doug at GOGO Diesel about a SCT tuner and custom tunes. For some fuel system upgrades here's a good list: Updated OEM fuel pressure regulator kit (blue spring), 6.4L banjo bolts, AirDog 100 or 150, and a fuel tank sump. The tuner could cause HG issues but tell you tuner to keep the...

    Question Oil Coorler Upgrade

IIRC Ford parts and workmanship should carry a 12mo/12k warranty. If you are "blowing" EGR coolers I'd ask other questions about the dealership. Read your Service Work order for the details. Keep the OEM oil cooler and swap in a GOGO diesel intake manifold (EGR system delete).
