    yea, ill end up doing that too. I just think my method of measurement might be off considering the potential for the line to be expanding with pressure. So this hose...is it rubber or is it the hard plastic?

    so, i plan on trying to get a better measurement of my fuel pressure today... where can i buy some of that 1/8" tubing and the fittings? I would think i can get the fittings at my local o'rileys, but what about the tube? Is it the same tube that i used for my boost gauge?

    yea i think i get what you're saying. I'll have to look into the itp/sinister...seems like there's someone out there that sells the whole gauge that mounts on top of the alternator. I used a flat ss washer for the shim.

    Update Alright, got a new fuel pressure gauge from sumit racing and got it all hooked up... Same thing again...actually maybe a hair less pressure this time. I couldnt imagine that im blowing off any pressure because I've got no fuel leaking at all. The ONLY thing I'm doing different now...

    makes sense...i'll order a new one...cause it worked fine before. do you think low fuel pressure could be the casue of my issue? just seems like it would be too high or something along those lines (aka...the engine is getting over fueled, which would explain the nasty oily bumper.)
