I guess it`s possile to have got a defective cps, but what I forgot to mention was the truck went in to the dealer 8 mounths ago for a factory recall cps replacment. Before this I have had 0 issues w/ this truck. Thanks for your reply.- ground pounder

I am new to this forum and was attracked to it because of all the good info. I have read as a guest. My super duty is a 2002 4wd lariat 7.3 psd. 200K miles Puchased the truck w/ 168K but have known the truck sinced it was purchased new the truck has never seen any serious mud or pulled more...- ground pounder

7-29-12 2002 Super Duty 7.3 PSD 200K milage cruise set on 65 MPH for 20mi. engine dies like you switch ignition off will not restart after verifing fuel presents going through fuses & checking fuel pump reset. 1hr. has past the truck started traveled 20 more mi. it died again 150$ tow home...- ground pounder
