Nice post. That video rules. Whats amazing to me is the way he pushed that truck when it was overheating. I can see him being unhappy with the truck, but can't imagine driving it with a multitude of alarms and gauges screaming that its in the red zone. Getting video documentation is great. Pushing it till it melts ain't hurting nobody but the owner. Apparently Darwin was right.

w/ OUT modification OR ALARMS.

i agree...but take the dodge outta the picture...dont even consider that,
and THEN think about what he's asking the truck to do...seems in line
w/ the way <generally> the truck is sold.

ive not towed as much as he has but i can tell you pullin the car trailer
w/ a 5k lb car on it around the mountains of asheville my coolant temp
NEVER exceeded 198*...and not until i was in stop and go traffic (less
air flow) did i see the 214* (where the fan kicked on to the tune of
20-40%)...i know its not the same as pulling that uhaul...but i showed
NO signs of coolant heating up much less OVER heating.

well ive seen this vid before.one thing that raises a flag would be way in the world would he be draggin a uhaul backwards?????thats like towing a freakin wall.of course its gonna be over heating and low on power.hes pulling a windgrabber.a uhaul wasnt built to go backwards.my buddy has an 05 and an 07 dmax with a 4 car wedge behind it.he will load 3 fullsize vans on it and drag it without issues with both trucks.although he says the 05 will pull it better than the 07.
