    Have a erratic engine miss much like a bad plug in a gasser.Dealer says I need a new EGR valve. $370.00. Error codes PO404,PO229,PO156, I can't find the last two codes in the 6.0L Bible. Does this diagnosis smell right? Thank for any input, Dave.

    Question Transmission wont shift to hi gear

    The overdrive button is just to shift in & out of fourth gear, did it feel like as if it was in neutral ? If it did take your foot off the gas & down shift to 2nd gear then back up to drive if it works you may just have a sticky valve or solenoid. Good luck Dave(elliotthere)

    Any body out there having engine or drive-ability problems with low sulfur/ultra low sulfur fuel? If so can any thing be done to make the problems go away? Also are early design engines 7.3L/6.0L, affected any differently, than later designs? Thanks Dave (elliotthere)
